Michael & Tilly Künz have been involved in the Cape Town Wedding photo and video industry for over 20 years. They are both accomplished wedding photographers and videographers.

For 10 years they owned and ran successful professional photographic labs, and were well known for the high standard of work produced by Photo Cabin in Hout Bay, Cape Town.

With years of experience they bring a calmness to the day that helps your wedding day to flow smoothly when you get married in Cape Town or anywhere else as they are happy to travel to work with you.

When covering a wedding there is usually 4 people in the team, each photographer and videographer has an assistant so that they can give there dedicated attention to capturing your day perfectly.

FotoVideo has invested in good quality digital cameras and HD video cameras, as well as computer equipment and software to enable them to provide you with a high quality edited product.

With years of experience they know what works at a wedding and what does not.  This experience is happily passed on to you to ensure that your day runs smoothly.  See our page on wedding day planning tips for more details.

Before your wedding day we like to meet with you at the venue where your photographs will be taken.  This creates an opportunity for us to get to know you a little better and to discuss in detail your expectation of our work.  During this time we practise the different possess used and decide of which props you want to use.  All this helps you to be more relaxed on the day as there are no surprises.

Should time allow, and depending on our commitments, we like to attend the ceremony rehearsal as well.  This gives us an opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the environment and make decision as to where the video camera will stand and photographic angles.  We also get to chat with the minister/marriage officer to discuss any restrictions there may be on taking photos and video.

The big question, how many hours do we spend with you?  We know that weddings generally do not run according to time so we do not put an hourly time limit on our services.  We will remain up till 10pm, if the proceedings are not finished by that time and you specifically want certain photographs taken, then there will be an additional fee as quoted on our packages and rates page.  Should everything be done before 10am we will leave you to enjoy the rest of your evening without a camera or video camera on you.
