Tilly is the lead photograpaher on the wedding day. She is assisted either by
Shar-ron or Michael, who also carry a camera to get the general unstaged
photographs.
Shooting starts with the bride getting ready. This is a time of chaos! Taking
time to have some photos taken by yourself gives the bride a chance to relax.
Depending on time, we often cannot be there for the bride leaving the house
photos, because we need to get to the church to setup for the bride's arrival.
There can be sensitivities around taking photographs in a church, some ministers
have restrictions on this, so it is helpful for you to discuss this with your
minister when you meet, please do not assume it is OK.
After the ceremony the fun really begins, usually with the family and friend
photographs. It is helpful for you to draw up a list of the people YOU want to
have in which photograph. We will ask for this list as it helps to get the
photo shoot running quickly.
Your photographs will have been rehersed beforehand. It is a good idea to
ensure there is about 2 hours for the photographs of family and yourselves. It
is best to send everyone away when your photos are been taken, the fewer people
interferring the better.
For the reception please look at our recommend order on the
wedding day tips page.
After the wedding day
Within 48 hours we will have about 50 photographs up on our website and on our
Facebook Page for you to see. You can pass links to
these sites to family and friends, especially those who were unable to attend.
Depending on our work load, it will take between 2 - 4 weeks for us to have all
your edited photographs ready for you. We give you all your photographs on a
disc for your to choose 100 for us to use in making up your wedding book. Once
we have made your wedding book it is uploaded to our site,
examples here, for you to see and give the OK
for us to proceed with printing.
It takes up to 4 weeks for the book to be printed. For more information about
the wedding book please go to our wedding book
page.
It's also a good idea to look at our legal terms and
conditions/policies for photographing a wedding.
